2nd September 2009 Windsurfing: Shoreham Wind Direction: SW-WSW Wind Stength: F5-6 Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered: Nice sunny session at Shoreham. Rigged 5m at first but it was a proper handful so for once made the right choice and changed down to a 4.5m. Got a fair few more well powered runs, then had 10 minutes of strong winds and heavy rain, then it dropped away. Changed to the 100 ltr freestyle board and 4.5m and carried on and after about 2 runs it filled back in. Just. Another half an hour and I was back on the ET70 with the 4.5m and it was just supercomfy. Ramps around but not a total gift for jumping. Very little on the inside for smash and grab riding, but got a few, in between dodging the children who were in the shallows. |
